Daryl Morgan — the entrepreneur known as Minko

I’m Daryl Morgan, known as Minko. I founded Minko’s Macs in 2011, starting from my bedroom with £70 and a practical interest in making technology work better for people.

From repairing Macs to building businesses

My work in music and media depended on Apple computers. Learning to repair and upgrade them became a way to help other people facing the same problems. That experience grew into Minko’s Macs, a business focused on Mac sales, repairs, upgrades and refurbished computers.

I hold a first-class honours degree in Computer Science from the University of East London. My approach combines that technical background with the day-to-day experience of serving customers and running businesses.

My wider work spans Minko’s Gaming, Minko’s Tech Workshops, We Are Verified, Minko’s Degree Pathways, Rebuild Jamaica and Device Care Plan. They cover different needs, from creative services and gaming computers to digital skills, degree pathways and community recovery.

Making AI useful for business owners

Running a business means managing enquiries, follow-ups, customer information and recurring tasks.
